Long time since I posted. I guess lots has been going on here. We have been gearing up for our month of birthdays. Had a party for Sarina with the neighbor kids last weekend and this coming weekend is a party for Ben and Sarina together with the family. Should be fun and I'm hoping for good weather. This rain is getting us down a bit. The sun is shining now but how long will that last with more storms predicted.
We have been able to get out on the bike a few times and I'm happy to say that I can still lug the train up the hill. Every chance we get we get the bike out and try for a longer ride. At the end of May we are doing a family charity bike ride. Hoping to go 30 miles with the tag-a-long. Mark will pull the carrier with Sarina. I don't think Ben and I have done more than five miles together so should be interesting. If I can get him to peddle it isn't bad on the hills but often he yells "Look I'm not peddling. You're doing all the work!" You would think my butt would be in better shape with all the hill work I do but alas NO! I hope to be in better shape by the end of May. Today I had hoped to ride the bike to Target. There's a really big hill to climb at the end and I was going to attempt it with just the carrier but it was raining this am and I'm not trying with both of them along! I'm sure the sun has to come out to stay some time soon, right?!
Other good news, today is the first day of our spring veggies! Hurrah. Hope to ride the bike to pick up Ben and then the veggies.
