Yet Another Example of My Bad Mothering

We subscribe to a weekly farm share from a local farm cooperative. For some reason the woman who has the central veggie drop off at her home thinks it's a good idea to put out a bowl of candy each week. Why I ask!? So every week we have a discussion about if they can get a candy and then of course how many pieces they each may have. Somehow we must discuss/debate the reason for only taking one piece of candy when clearly the adults are not going to want candy so why not take more. We were on our way today to pick up our vegetable share and Sarina was going on and on saying "Beano get a sucker?" over and over again. I had reached my limit of telling her that she could have a sucker if and only if there were suckers to be had. Since this seemed to have no effect I said "Beano needs to get a clue!" To which she replied "Why Beano need a Cluke? What's Cluke?" Yes, a steller mothering moment.

Sorry we've been off line of late. I'll try to find the time to keep you all updated.
