We are expecting a bunch of snow tonight. Big talk of over ten inches and schools closings. Not again I pray. My Xmas shopping is not done and the boy will have almost two whole weeks off starting next Tuesday. I'm sure he will want to bake too. Ben is on a big baking roll. I got him a kids baking cookbook for Xmas. Not sure I'll be able to keep my weight down if we are baking everyday.
Right now the sun is shinning brightly and all is calm. I pray that the storm passes us by or is over in enough time to clear the roads for school.

What is it about snow and brownies, for us? Seems like every time we have a "snow storm", I feel like making brownies. Probably has more to do with what staples I have in my pantry, although sugar or butter cookies never sound as good as, say, chocolate chip cookies. Unfortunately, I bought a bunch of baking supplies yesterday when I got up my drive way.
Hmmmm: Ethan has not expressed an interest in doing anything other than licking spoons. Although I'm not sure I want to invoke a baking bug in him, considering my own (lack of) willpower...
