Where's My dinner?!

Today was pretty busy. We took a long bike ride to a park and then Mark and Ben decided to go fishing while Sarina napped and I read (and watched tv. Oh, to watch tv all by myself). So when dinner time rolled around we decided to order Chinese food. I grabbed a menu and ordered, then headed out to pick up our food. I drove all the way there before I realized I had forgotten my purse and thus had no money. I raced home, ran in and grabbed my purse and headed back out. When I got to the restaurant they said they did not have my order, apologized and said they would quickly make it. They were deeply embarrassed as I am a regular customer but no matter. After waiting 15 minutes I had the order and was on my way home. No big whoop right. Well I get in the door and Mark had his cell phone in one hand and our land line in his other hand and he was clearly upset. He asked me where I'd been because the restaurant kept calling to ask when I was going to pick up our food. The realization slowly came to me that ooops, I had called the wrong restaurant! Uh oh! I called the restaurant and they were all like, oh you went to our competitor. Well when are you going to come pick up and pay for this food we made! They were not amused. Off I went yet again to pick up dinner. The very same dinner that Mark and the kids were sitting down to when I left. Now we have lots of Chinese food leftovers. We did a taste comparison and we definitely like the restaurant that I thought I had called in the first place. I threw out the menu of the other place so hopefully no more mistakes and I vow I will charge my cell phone more often so my husband can call me and tell me when I make these mistakes.

I am always forgetting to turn my phone on when I leave the house and off when I return. I am going to have to set a routen, So I am on line and charged.

Oh how embarrassing! Since I got my fancy schmancy phone, it's always recharged. My new problem is not hearing it ring in my purse. I suppose I could get a phone holster, but I don't always have belt loops and I just don't trust them. With so many missed calls, it makes it hard for me to yell at Jason for not answering his cell phone...

Now your acting like me. OMG I have to tell Mikey & Sammi "You have to keep track of your own schedule and stuff because your Mom messes up ALL THE TIME!". Thank God they know not to count on me knowing anything....

PS Clay cried today and didn't want to go on the bus...HEART WRENCHING!!! His little face looking out the window. He was fine when he got home.....There's always tomorrow.
