My Broodie Hen

Sarina has been using the potty to achee for the last few days. She's been very successful and very proud. In fact she is so proud she refuses to get off the potty and sits on it like a brooding hen clucking away about her little bundle of joy. Today she sat for over ten minutes proudly saying achee over and over and refusing to get off and let me flush it away. I left her there on her little nest singing this morning. Every time I asked she yelled "no, no" to my request to put it in the toilet. I kept coming back to check on her until finally she gave it up and said bye bye as we flushed it away.

We have not made on progress on the susu front. She continues to ask to go potty after she susus but I think she is doing really well for her age. I don't ask her to sit on the potty yet. I thought I would wait and see how she does.

She's doing great! It's so cool that you let her sit and wait until she is ready to flush it away. I should have done that with Sammi, she would have had more "control" of her potty.

Way to go Sarina!

We have the opposite with Jon Jon, can't seem to get the achee in the toilet. Have I said "I hate achee in the big boy pants?" It took Naunie, Papa and Jon Jon 10 minutes to clean it up last night.
Holy Cow, this was easier 25 years ago.

Yes, I remember SAmmi and her control issues. She is why I try to be very careful about that. She can sit on her little nest egg as long as she likes. I'm really not trying to push her. She has started pulling down her pants and demanding to go to the potty. No luck with the susu despite going to the potty to try 5 times today. Oh well. I go when she asks only.
