On the Side Lines and Loving It
I took Sarina to storytime at the bookstore the other day and of course afterward we had to stop at the train table to play. A must after storytime. I have to admit to a bit of guilty pleasure as Sarina played nicely while child after child was hauled away kicking and screaming because they could not share the trains. One little girl had to have the pink train which set off a storm of protests from the boy who had it. Sad to say I actually laughed out loud at the stompy fits. It was bad of me but it brought back such memories of train table times with Ben. To really rub it in I had Saraina put her trains back nicely in the wheel house, say good bye and walk away without a tantrum. That was really mean of me but I enjoyed it so. I'm sure the other mommies were not pleased with me.

Everyopne gets thir turn sooner or later. It sure feels good when you have the child that behaves just like an angel.
No, the other mommies were just jealous, or perhaps thinking smugly to themselves that their little tantrum thrower is so much more of an individual! I've gotten digs by my friend that I'm squelching their independence or some such crap. Yeah. Right...
