Yes, I just had to go there. and I did spend a ton of money. Should have asked for my discount! Got some great Nepali novels. Of course I"m still working on What is the What and I only get one hour of reading time a day if that. Also got some great kid's books in Nepali and English plus Neplai alphabet practice books. OK, I bought I lot! Thamel is a maze of shops. I''m going back without Ben and with a guide next time!
