We've been having trouble with our file so it looks like we will be spending another week in nepal! Hurrah. How I love living in a hotel room with my family. So nice and cozy all of us together.
Aside from the file trouble things are good. Sarina is speaking more words and is actually feeding herself and drinking from her sippy cup on her own. She is a Vittorio girl for sure. Due to stomach problems and to be cautious we've kept her on a limited diet. Dal bhat, yogurt, fruit and veggies mostly plus crackers. Tonight at dinner she kept pointing to the buffet and we had to tell her No. Oh she wanted to eat all that food and she would. She loves her Dal, bhat (RICE)and veggies. Oh how I hope that lasts. We continue to stuggle to find things Ben will eat. Tonight it was penne with butter and cheese only. At least he ate. Today also she has been more of a two year old. So far she has come when we called and even helps us dress her when she is crying. Oh, but today she actually said "NA" when I called her to come! And she has been experimenting with banging things and grapping things.
Ben is making friends here. There is a woman who runs in the garden each morning and he waits for her to come around then races her. The wait staff enjoy teasing him and are amazed for some reason at how well he speaks English. He has played a little bit with the other Nepali adopted children about his age. He has been slow to warm up to them I think becasue they don't speak Englsih. He likes to spy on them. One day we took our cameras and spied on them in the garden. They thought it was hilarious because we were sneaking around ( in plain view) and hiding behind lamp posts that were three feet tall and one foot wide and then snapping their pics. They were roaring with laughter and Ben kept asking me why they were laughing at themselves. All the while we were pretending to be eggs by putting our heads on the ground and our butts in the air so they wouldn't notice us. Then we hid behind a rock and some bamboo and they charged us. It was hilarious to say the least.
Ben actually said he loved this world tonight when we went out in the garden and it was all lit up. He was just so fascinated. We had a great time investigating the grounds by lamp light. Also there is a wedding on the roof of the house next to our hotel right outside our window. We've been watching them get ready for two days. Yesterday we took pictures of the bridal party taking pictures of the bride. The people got a good laugh. Now he wants Tiger to have a wedding. Luckily he has not settled on who Tiger will marry. Most people enjoy us spying on them and I must say I"m enjoying it myself.
Tomorrow we may go to the Monkey temple. Hopefully that will go well. We'll need to explain to Ben that you never fight with a monkey no matter how ornery they are.

Sorry, to hear about the file. I am glad aBen has started to enjoy that world.
I wish I had been there to play the spy game, it sounds like too much fun.
She sounds like a vittorio girl for sure.
love to all Grammy
Oh man! Sorry you got caught in the red tape. Hopefully it's not a huge amount.
By the time you leave, Ben will be so warmed up that he may be reluctant to go. Or you guys will all be so sick of close quarters you'll be fighting for the door.
Cabin fever--catch it!
Well Ben looks so grownup. He's lost his baby face. A big boy now. You can see in the photos, he REALLY loves his mommy (and daddy and sister too) ;)
Glad all is well. Thanks so much for sharing with us. We think about you everyday and it's so great to be able to see and hear from you.
LOVE YA XXXXOOOO a kiss and a hug for each of you.
Hoping that the file cleans up quickly. I wish I was with you spying and looking for bugs. Oh my! What a thought...being eggs. You are very creative. Remember to have a banana, just in case. Hoping you have a peaceful night rest. Love to all, Glo
