Ben Takes Down a Tree

We had a bad storm last Thursday night and one of our trees came down into the neighbor's yard. No one hurt but the fence, however Mark had to come home from Germany on Friday and then spend Saturday cutting it up and removing the it. He had some great help. The best helper was Ben. He loved the teamwork and hauled logs and lifted them over the fence on his own. He worked like a trooper all day. He was pretty warn out and at dinner he was rather reeling in his seat with his eyes closing and the next thing we knew he fell face first onto the floor and started to snore. The boy literally fell to sleep! He was very proud of himself though. He also made sure all the workers had water to drink and asked me for a pitcher of water for them and some glasses. Then he poured everyone water. Way to go Ben.
