Today Ben suggested that we both have friends over so we can spend some time and talk. He thought he could invite his friend Sammy and I could talk with Sammy's grandmother who watches Sammy during the day. I asked him what he and Sammy would talk about and he replied "Oh, baby trouble and why my sister poohs so much."
Ben's favorite toothpaste was confiscated at the airport and he has had to make do with his least favorite toothpaste. Yet another disappointment about Nepal. The other night he said "Mom, my mouth is too sensual for this toothpaste." Where the hell did he hear the word sensual?!
During Sarina's nap today Ben was playing outside and he came in to ask me if I would spend some time with him. He had set up some chairs on the patio and set out little tables (upside down plastic contaners) and brought a drink out for each of us. It was quite pleasant. WE had a little talk, mostly about some of his inventions. He is big on inventions lately made from leggos. My favorite is the snowball killer3000.
