The children have had fevers for the last two days so some rough sleepless nights. Ben kept waking me up last night for various reasons. He claimed that creatures were crawling out of the walls. Then he insisted on having a new blanket because his blanket had creatures on them. No doubt it was the progenitor of the crawling wall creatures. So two days in a row our boy has missed school. Plus last week was spring break so no break for Mommy. Sarina had a fever too but while she slept all night she wanted to be held all day. I sure feel needed.
Ben has been trying to entertain himself. Yesterday he made goodie bags for the neighbors, however, since he still had a fever we did not get to deliver them. Today he is making something that is special and involves three plastic bowls, paper and a highly needed glue stick. In fact the glue stick is pivotal to the whole operation and the project could not be started until one was located. It is so key to the project he broke into tears when I said we had none. WE hurriedly called a neighbor to ask for one but she was not home despite her car being clearly in her drive. Luckily, I looked on my extra secret art supply drawer and found one. Dear God, he is wanting to make another project. The other is drying now. We need:
One piece of wrapping paper
One scissors
Five pieces of tape
Two envelopes
One pencil
Luckily we have all that handy. I can not divulge what the projects are. They are top secret and I promised not to tell plus he wouldn't tell me anyway. Some of you will find these in your mail box later. I can only say I'm sorry we are constantly cluttering your mail boxes.

At least he is makung something.
I remember a little boy who picked up the rocks from people's driveways and then knocked on the door and sold they back to the owners.
Arts and Crafts always was the best way to entertane and educate children.
love ya
