Ben has declared today "The Best Day Ever." He has a list of things that happen on this day. Unfortunately school is not on his list. One does not go to school on the best day ever! One plays with their best friend Sammy on this day. And they go bowling but he pointed out to me that school was clearly not on the list and he was not going. It was an interesting morning. We arrived at school and he managed to burrow under my coat, vest and shirt placing his very cold body against my back. That felt so refreshing given that the temp here is about 10 degrees today. We're off to a good start given that I woke with a cough and very stuffy nose.
Somehow I get the feeling that this will not be my best day ever.

Pre-schooler in the home:
Last night was playdo night for us. When I arrived home I was promptly greeted at the door and informed that it was playdo time.
I then replied "but who will cook dinner?"
Jon Jon informed that "Pa Pa will".
I asked him, "But does Pa Pa know this?"
The reply....."I need you Naunie, follow me."
Well, playdo it is! No dinner tonight, who cares about dinner anyway.
ps Pa Pa did not make dinner.
Don't you know how to make dinner out of playdo?!
two toddlers for the day, wants to know what is cook. We are at call.
