So the latest from the ministry is that 40 more files were signed this week. By most people's estimation there are about 120 files left to sign. And then there are 40 more files that never made it to the Ministry before they closed adoptions. Our file should be at the Ministry though. For some reason our lawyer, who actually is on the committee to review the files at the ministry, does not know our file number. Hmmmmm...so interesting a system. Apparently no one can know just how many files are left right now. No that would be too much information.
As of now I'm assuming we are anywhere within that stack...you know somewhere, um, possibly. I've gotten most of the packing ready which is very odd for me but I"m finding it relaxing. Of course the travel clinic called and moved our appointment back a week so that is a strong sign that we will get the call early Monday and will want to leave Friday but won't be able to because we don't have all our shots. Wouldn't it be lovely to finally get the call and then have to wait for some bureaucratic crap here. That would make for a refreshing change, don't you think? Am I getting a bit cynical. Nah, not a bit.
