Kathy called at 6am this morning! What a great wake me up call. She had just seen Sarina at Bal Mandir and got to spend 10 minutes with her. She said that Sarina was just falling asleep but she got to hold her and she gave her the little picture album that I put together of all of us. She sat on her lap and pointed at the pictures and she seemed to understand the works mama and daddy. It was just so wonderful to hear Kathy talk about how good she looked and how healthy and alert she was. Then she put her back in her bed and she snuggled down with the photo album. So now Sarina has seen pictures of us and I'm hoping that she will recognize us and that will make our transition a little easier when we do finally get to bring her home. Which may happen soon but not for a few weeks yet.
Kathy has gotten her visa for her daughter to travle and will be home on Thursday. I can't wait to see them and to hear all about the trip. Little Olivia has gained two pounds already and you can just see how transformed she is as each day goes by and I get new pics through email from Kathy. She was laughing and talking in the background while I talked to Kathy and they just seemed to have bonded wonderfully already.
According to Kathy Sarina is bigger than Olivia (who was 17 pounds) so I hope will have the right sized clothes. I thought she would be tiny but I bought bigger thinking she would grow fast. So maybe she is 24 month clothes and size 5 shoes. I did buy some girl clothes but mostly she will be in Ben's clothes until we get home. Poor thing has all truck pajamas. Once she is home we will remedy that.
