Now it's time to play is it a Lie, a Fib or a Trick

We're having a new conversation in our house about the difference between a lie, a fib and a trick. For instance: if you tell your mother you finished your hotdog but you really stuck it into the trailer of your Mack truck and then when your Dad finds it and you say "a mouse put it there." Is that a lie, a fib or a trick?

How about this one? If you bring a bowl of carrots to the bedroom to feed the more-than-willing-to-eat dog (who by the way is grossly overweight) and your mother catches you and tells you to put the carrots in the sink and you instead place a trail of carrots down the hallway to the kitchen, is that a lie or a trick?

What if you mother tells you to put your trucks away and come brush your teeth but you instead stick the trucks down your pants. Is that a trick?

Thank you for playing.

Is it a lie or a trick when you soak your red marker in the dog's bowl until her drinking water is blood red and then claim a monster did it?
