My children are taking advantage of my weakened condition. Yesterday after all my walking I thought a good thing to do would be to weed the flower bed while they played. What was I thinking! Now my back and legs hurt. I'm still cranky and they have been double teaming me. Sarina whines to be picked up and hangs on my legs while Ben begs to eat dinner in front of the tv while I make dinner. Yes, for pity sake eat in front of the tv and leave me in peace!
I finally get dinner made and Sarina begs for my small measured portion of rice. As if she doesn't have a heaping serving on her own plate! Why does mommy's rice taste so much better?! How am I supposed to keep track of portions this way? Then Ben suggests ice cream since he ate so much dinner. I bought some nondiary barely ice cream ice cream with half the calories of his Ben and Jerry's Phish Food (my absolute fave) and I measured out my meagre 1/2 cup (only 140 calories and 4.5 grams of fat while Ben and Jerry's has 12 luxurious grams of fat with marshmallows) and what does he want--yes, to try Mommy's. The ice cream was actually good. It is a sad day when I actually enjoy soy ice cream. That is the miserable depth that I have sunken to. Damn it. Damn Carl.

Too bad you can't build sharing into your portion size... I am evil and never share my food anymore. I eat like a convict with my arm curled around my plate...
If they sell them in your neck of the woods, WW English Toffe bars are just 2 pts (140-150 cals) and very satisfying and tasty. Ditto their peppermint patties.
You could start putting your meal on their plates and theirs on your, then when they want to change(Never again probablly) it would work our right.
Are just start with an empty plate and take shares from each of them.
