Will Tomorrow ever come

Yes, we are once again looking forward to tomorrow. WE are really forward thinkers here in Nepal. It is always tomorrow that something will get done. We are somewhat encouraged by the meeting tonight at the Embassy but there was no definitive answer and may not be one until Monday. I will continue to make the rounds on our behalf. Tomorrow I go to the Prime Minister's office.

On friday we will be taking a trip to visit Kathmandu University where Mark helped set up the computer lab. Hurrah, we will finally get out of the city and see some of this beautiful country. We will stay over night at a resort and have promised Ben he can run and play. Unfortunately for Ben the Neapli idea of a good time seems to be going to temples as that seems to be all the tourist guides have to offer besides shopping or going on long treks. Not this trip anyway.

Ben wants to take a cab everywhere now. He has become quite lazy! He loves his little sister and actually changed her diaper the other day. I captured it on film! She screamed alot and then wet her jammies as there was a malfunction. He loves to call for group hugs which are very nice. We are managing to have some good family time. Unfortunately Sarina is quite comfortable with us which means she no longer helps dress herself and she screams when she is hungry and when she is tired. She also cries in her sleep a bit. The nice thing is that she will eat anything. She grabbed a tomato off Ben's plate and chowed it down. Tonight she ate rice with paneer (Indian cheese), mint chutney and tomatoes! It was even spicy. Gosh I love this girl. She is so like my family. She has the longest eye lashes and a furry back (a trait that runs in certain members of our family). She actually reminds me of Diana without the weird crying thing she had.

WEll until tomorrow folks. Yea right, don't hold your breath. If they are going to sign our file it won't be until 5pm sunday as the boss is due back monday morning.

The sun'll come out tomorrow (is this song stuck in your head yet?) Oh well, perhaps this is your escape from the last of the WI snow, of which I believe there will be more if this week. Poor Sarina will not know what to make of that after the tropical temps you guys have been experiencing (though with the furry back, perhaps she won't notice--and what good future blackmail potential!)

Furry back you say? A sure sign that she was ment for this family.
all girls have long lashs and furry backs and sometimes arms and legs.
I just wish that if God is going to make our babies in third world countries, He would help us figure out how to get them HOME.
Still praying for you all, hope to met our girl (Granddaughter 2) ASAP

I did not see a posting for Thursday. I am hoping all is well.
As hard as it may be, please try to post everyday. Even if it is just one line.

Is it time to contact press and legislators?
Love ya,
